Reflective Metal Signs Let Your Business Illuminate The Dark

Reflective Metal Signs May Be Your Best Worker

It’s happened to most of us at least once – you will be driving along a dark windy road, GPS is broken, your map offers no help and you have no clue where the exit is! Creeping along at well under the speed limit, you start to panic when finally, up ahead, the road sign appears brightly illuminated in your high beams. You sigh a breath of relief and arrive safely at your destination.

If it hadn’t been for those reflective metal signs, you may have easily driven miles past your exit unknowingly, only to need to turn back around and hope to locate it again. What a pain that would have been!

Much like highway signs enable you to arrive at your destination, your business sign helps customers discover the products they are looking for.

Now imagine that there’s a customer driving around searching for your store or office in the heart of wintertime when it gets dark so early — or even early morning when dawn has yet to fully approach the horizon. Having a reflective metal sign is certain to not only alert them of your place, but draw the attention of other potential clients as well! Why limit your potential customer base by only being visible during daylight hours? People all around you have diverse daily schedules – which means you can’t predict what early bird or night owl may be trying to find a small business just like yours.

How to use reflective metal signs to not only be noticeable, but stand apart!

To permit your company to differ from the rest, adding a reflective metal sign to your existing signage is really a sound investment – especially for businesses located on heavily traveled traffic routes such as highways and byways, main streets and industrial areas. There will always be a continuous stream of traffic at any hour of the day. Using reflective signs will automatically increase your likelihood of getting seen and noticed round the clock. Current and future customers will instantly have their attention captured when your message is reflected back at them.

So what precisely would YOUR reflective metal sign look like?

Almost any image you can imagine can be transformed into a custom metal sign! From a custom shape to full-color photos, any design can be digitally printed right onto the bright, reflective surface of the metal sign panel. So whether or not your organization shuts down before dark, your new sign will carry on with working tirelessly throughout the night to reinforce your presence within the community.

DOUBLE-DUTY reflective signs add another unexpected value to businesses

With both night and day visibility, your sign will provide DOUBLE the advertising worth of a non-reflective sign. What may not be as obvious though would be that the LIFESPAN of reflective metal signs is more than DOUBLE that of standard metal signs! And get this – the reflective surface measures 30% brighter without the use of any electricity providing additional ongoing savings.

Double the value for only 33% more?

With a price difference of only 33%, reflective metal signs provide a meaningful value over standard, economy grade signs. Since 1986, TheSignChef.com has specialized in custom, reflective metal signs by serving the business community, contractors, real estate agents, municipalities, military bases, hospitals, schools, universities, churches and non-profit agencies.

The Positive Qualities Of Vinyl Banners

03/25/2009

Vinyl banners are one of the most used forms of signage on the market.  There are a list of qualities that vinyl banners possess that make it ideal for a variety of purposes.

Vinyl banners are available for interior and exterior use, as they are available in heavy and light duty.  The difference between the two are the weight of the fabric used in the sign.  The heavy duty banners are backed with nylon scrim that is woven into the fabric.  Nylon scrim offers extra reinforcement to the vinyl banner.

Vinyl banners are portable, flexible and tear resistant.  You can safely roll a vinyl banner and carry it from location to location without concern of damage.  The flexibility is also a wonderful feature when taking the wind into account.

Printed Coroplast Signs Give Direction to Wedding Guests

03/23/2009

I recently attended a beautiful outdoor wedding, but the location was definitely off the beaten path. Thank goodness for two things – my navigational system and a series of printed coroplast signs directing guests to the wedding site. Otherwise, not only would we out-of-towners have missed this remote wedding, but the bride and groom would have wondered where there loved ones were during this special time. I have attended a few weddings that marked the wedding site with balloons or homemade cardboard signs lettered with markers, but balloons do not always survive the day, and cardboard signs are often illegible. An economical and practical solution to guiding guests to your wedding or other large party is to order inexpensive, printed coroplast signs.

Coroplast signs are lightweight, easy to display, and can be customized to suit your personality and taste. And best of all, the lettering on printed coroplast signs remains visible through out the event and will be sure to get your guests where you need them without fail. And finally, because they are so affordable, not only will your guests appreciate the directional help, Dad will appreciate the low cost of such an affordable solution!

I guess it’s not obvious to everyone?

Can’t wait for spring

01/14/2009

I know, lots of you are in your third of fourth month of cold weather and snow, but when you live in a place like Charleston, SC you get a little spoiled. Not only do we have the beaches, but we have the warm weather.

Or we usually do…..this week is not typical Charleston. So I am wearing a sweatshirt in the office and huddled up in a long coat every time I step out the door.

It is so cold our installers don’t even want to think about putting up business signs!

I think I will just sit here an day dream about spring. Flowers, birds, warm weather…..ahhhhhhhh

In the spring a lot of businesses decide it is time to get new signage too. Lots of magnetic signs, vinyl lettering and banners. Which means long days for us. Look out spring fever……

Why You Don’t Want to Choose a Vinyl Banner

01/09/2009

Never choose a vinyl banner if you don’t want a sign that will be usable indoors or out.

It is an especially bad idea of you don’t want something outdoors that can stand up to the elements. After all, do you prefer a sign outdoors that will fade, tear up and have the ink run down it?

Magnetic Signs Can Color Your Car With Personality

Magnetic Signs For Your Car Are The Easy, Fun Way To Stand Out

I passed a car the other day that really caught my eye. Its owner must have worked for a bloodmobile, because all over it were various magnetic signs advertising the benefits of giving blood. One of the more interesting magnetic signs was a sign shaped like a drop of blood – several of these were scattered all over the car. I had no doubt what the driver of this car stood for, thanks to her magnetic signs, and donors certainly knew they were in the right place when they arrived at the donation spot.

Not only was this person’s car noticeable thanks to her creative use of magnetic signs, but she took a serious job – giving blood – and made it look fun and whimsical. This approach probably helped potential donors relax a little when they saw her car and possibly encouraged future donors to think about giving blood once they saw her positive, yet passionate magnetic signs.

And the best thing about her magnetic signs? If she has to be someplace where her array of magnetic signs would not be appropriate – a wedding or funeral, let’s say – then all she has to do is peel them off and reapply them later! Magnetic signs are versatile and inexpensive, allowing people’s businesses, causes, or personalities stand out.

Magnetic Signs Are Affordable Enough To Order Several

Usually when I see cars bearing magnetic signs, they have one sign on one car door and another sign on the other car door. Even a couple of magnetic signs work well to attract attention to your car. So think of what you can do with …

Is it worth it?

01/07/2009

Sometimes I have to wonder if all of this social networking, blogging, article writing, etc is really worth it.  Don’t get me wrong I enjoy the challenge of trying to find new ways to get our business noticed and  I love to watch it climb in the rankings.

But I guess I am impatient.  I want all of my long tail’s,  my Tier 1 Key phrases and everything inbetween to fly to the top of the search engines.

Organic results is certainly more of a challenge sometimes, but as I sit here reflecting on it and thinking about how exciting it is to actually watch the upward movement, I guess it is worth it after all.

Car Magnets Are Custom Signs With A VIP Pass

01/05/2009

Car Magnets Are Allowed ‘Backstage’ When Other Signs Are Turned Away

Just what do I mean by this? Most commercial and residential areas have restrictions on sign placement, meaning business owners can’t simply erect a sign of any size in any place with any graphics. Municipal zoning boards usually have to approve of all features of a sign before it gets the ‘go-ahead’. You may find this hard to believe since signs are everywhere, but all those signs had to go through the same vetting process.

Even if your sign is approved, you want to promote your business literally…

While stuck in traffic….

01/02/2009

I must travel a very busy stretch of interstate to get to a very busy exit every day for work. I am usually slowed down at some point, at times to a stand still. This can be extremely frustrating, as we all know, but for the business minded, it can be an opportunity. How so? The last time I was stuck in traffic I noticed a vehicle magnet advertising a tree service.

My husband and I had awakened to a fallen tree in our yard that very morning, and we were looking for someone to handle it. Since traffic was stopped, I picked up my phone and arranged an appointment for him to come and look at the tree.

All I did was read the phone number off of the truck’s custom car magnet, and my problem was solved. All he did was purchase custom car magnet, and he got a new customer. And all we did was happen to get stuck in some nasty traffic.
